Joy Of Dawn

Each new day shows His grace, love, and mercy

Streams in the Desert

Sometimes it seems I go through life without what I need for the day. At the end I find myself partched, wishing there was a stream somewhere in my desert. Then I realize that it was there all along I just needed to take a drink.

Re, my sister Rebecca, LOVES to sing. Often without her knowing it, the hymn she sings convicts me. It is like having a musical preacher in the house some days. Yet I wouldn’t wish it anyother way! The song that goes to my heart during the time of my thirst is Did You Think To Pray. “Ere you left your room this morning did you think to pray?” Oh no not again! šŸ™‚

I find it so improtant to start my day right, even if the morning is so busy that I don’t have much time. I try to squeeze in what I can. I often listen to music on those days to help me get through. Then when night comes I try and finish what I started that morning. Although I admit my best prayer time is at night when I lay in bed wide awake. I try to remember all my friends, family, and those others that have moved me to pray for them. I often struggle wondering what it is that I should ask the Lord for each person. The Lord knows their needs better then I do.

Yet I wonder if my day is so full that I don’t leave time for God? Am I to worried about tomorrow to finish today?Ā Ā Ā Ā …Is thatĀ a cauctus up ahead??

So when I leave my room tomorrow will I find that I forgot to pray and read my BibleĀ and later find myself in a desert?
