A Little Bird

One of the things I enjoy about an on coming summer is the small little critters that are starting out on their own. Like this little bird.

He moves pretty fast!

He keeps on hopping away.

He thinks he can hid under the lilac bush.

He was so cute or is it a she?  Anyway, I wanted to try and help him fly but he moved to fast. As he hopped away he kept heading toward the highway. I had to leave just after taking these pics so I don’t know what happened to him. Although I thought I heard him still peeping when we got back. He better learn how to fly! This isn’t a good place for a penguin or an ostrich! 🙂 Plenty of cats, chickens, and wild animals to eat him up.
